Lovely

Hip hop beats are usually placed in this way, and so it does sound repetitive, but with a vocal ontop that all goes away!
So variation is fine i think.
Just the piano should be more stero, it sounds too much like all the sounds are coming from one position. It's great!

Love it, The break and the calm feel is so nice!
Improvments would be, bringing the melody sounds away from the ambient/backing sounds, since they sound too attached.

Yeah I tried to do that but the chord progression I was working with actually made that extremely difficult without having to do a key change, which wouldn't have worked out well with the lead.
In future projects I'll keep this in mind
